Darjeeling, the enchanting town, also known as the "Queen of Hills" lies nestled in the grandeur of the snow-capped mountains and lush green tea gardens. A holiday resort during the British rule, this town still exudes its past grandeur, charm and majesty, attracting a lot of visitors.
Situated in the Eastern Himalayas, this beautiful state of Sikkim is sandwiched between the kingdom of Nepal in the West and Bhutan in the East, Tibet in the North and the state of West Bengal in the South. With an area of 7,300 sq. kms.
The name 'Bhutan' appears to derive from the Sanskrit 'Bhotant' meaning 'the end of Tibet' or from 'Bhu-uttan' meaning 'high land'. Though known as Bhutan to the outside world, the Bhutanese themselves refer to their country as Druk Yul or the Land of the Thunder Dragon.

BAGDOGRA/NJP - DARJEELING ( DINNER) Arrive Bagdogra Airport /NJP Railway Station, our representative will meet you and you will be transferred to Darjeeling. Three and half hours drive uphill along beautiful meanders of picturesque tea gardens will bring you to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check into the hotel, refresh and relax. Later this evening our, we shall drive to the popular Chowrasta (Mall) and enjoy the evening there. Spend sometime around Mall and you can get the exact pulse of this vibrant little town and its people. You will find number of curio shops here if you wish to pick some souvenirs of Darjeeling or even choose to try a pony ride. You can also witness a spectacular view of Mt Kanchendzonga and its ranges from here. We spend some time and return back to our hotel. (Overnight at the hotel). |

DARJEELING - SIGHTSEEING- TRANSFER GANGTOK Wake up early this morning, and we shall drive to the Tiger hill to witness the breath taking sunrise view Enroute we also visit Batasia loop and the War Memorial.. After this enchanting experience we get back to the hotel for breakfast. We shall then head for a sightseeing trip of Darjeeling. We visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, and Japanese Temple before lunch. After lunch we proceed for a brief excursion to the Barbotey Rock Garden, a beautiful picnic spot with natural water falls just about 10 Kilometers from the town. We spend some time at leisure and transfer to Gangtok. Overnight Gangtok. |

GANGTOK - CHANGU LAKE - GANGTOK This morning after breakfast, head for a full day excursion to Changu Lake. We start driving above Gangtok along the mystical environs and reach an enchanting Changu lake. A lake is nestled amidst high peaks at an altitude of 12,400 ft. If you are lucky you will be able to witness the lake in a frozen state. You can also enjoy a yak ride, take pictures. (Lunch at Changu) After this visit we drive back to our hotel refresh and relax. This evening is free for you to stroll around on your own. Early Dinner & Rest for long trip to Lachung next morning. (Overnight at Hotel). GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING This morning after breakfast, we shall head for a full day sightseeing trip of Gangtok. We start off from Enchey Monastery in the morning, and head for Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Directorate of handicrafts and handlooms, Tibetology and Chorten. After lunch, we take a leisure drive along the picturesque countryside to visit an impressive Rumtek Monastery which is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site. This lavishly built monastery is said to be the replica of Tsurphu monastery of Kagyupa order in Tibet. You will also be able to witness a panoramic view of Gangtok town from here. After the visit, we get back to our hotel, refresh and relax. This evening is free for your own activities. (Overnight at the hotel) |

GANGTOK-LACHUNG (North Sikkim) (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER) Early breakfast and start our Trip to North Sikkim.The valley of flowers enroute drives thru numerous Sikkimese Villages, Flamboyant Water Falls, Great Valley views and Hills. Lunch on the wayside at Namok Village Restaurant .Reach Lachung after 5-6 hrs of drive. Those interested can avail the walk in the village. Early Dinner & Halt overnight. |

LACHUNG-YUMTHANG VALLEY-LACHUNG-GANGTOK. (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER) Early breakfast and continue to drive to Yumthang Flower Valley. Our Journey begins with passing of the world famous Singhba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Which starts at Lachung and ends at Yumthang of 24 Kms. Visit the Hot Spring at Yumthang valley. Play in the valley filled with flowers and at winters snow. Walk down to the tiny looking Teesta River and great escape of Mountains standing from your foot (Hold your caps-or it will fall when you look to the top of the Himalayas)...Return to Lachung for Lunch and drive back to Gangtok stopping over at numerous waterfalls. Check in on arrival and Dinner & Halt overnight. |

GANGTOK TO BAGDOGRA (BREAKFAST / LUNCH) After breakfast return drive to Bagdogra. Lunch enroute at the Highway to Bagdogra Airport . |
